Senior Data Engineer (Scala)

In this project you will be able to contact with one of the key players in banking in the EU and around the world. Thus, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across more than 50 countries and you will help develop solutions in one of these three areas: investments, business solutions or commercial/personal services.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work in this project in Lisbon or Porto.

Requirements:

- Expertise with Scala is mandatory;
- Professional experience with programming languages, SQL, Python,  and Scala; 
- Experience with ETL Processes;
- Knowledge of the software development cycle;
- Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable data processing to handle large volumes of data efficiently and effectively;
- Optimize and fine-tune these pipelines for performance and reliability;
- Collaborate with other data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and define use cases, formulate hypotheses, and design solution;
- Design high-performance data pipelines;
- Automate the end-to-end release of artifacts across environments.
