Senior Data Scientist

What are you going to do? 

• Lead the delivery of optimization algorithms and mathematical models that solve complex business problems with minimal support from senior team members;
• Collaborate with the data science and analytics team to improve the teams optimization capabilities;
• Communicate complex optimization concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Participate in most of the lifecycle of data science projects, using knowledge from the data science toolbox;
• Begin to develop a sufficiently broad area of expertise (e.g. a technical area such as optimization, or a commercial area such as networking and programming) and become a trusted expert within the data science team”.

What are we looking for? 

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences or a similar field;

• More than 4 years of experience as Data Scientist;
• Solid experience in programming with Python, SQL and other languages optimized for computing;
• Knowledge of optimization techniques such as linear programming, integer programming, mixed integer programming and constrained programming;
• Familiarity with optimization platforms/packages such as Gurobi, ORTools CPLEX, PuLP or others;
• Knowledge of Big Data tools;
• Good level of English - B2;
