What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and sustain scalable, robust infrastructure to support the high-demand applications and services.
• Automate and optimize deployment workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and routine maintenance activities to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Continuously monitor and enhance system performance, proactively detecting and addressing issues to ensure optimal availability and dependability.
• Work closely with development, data, and security teams to guarantee smooth integration of infrastructure changes and code updates.
• Champion security best practices by establishing and managing access controls, network security, and compliance policies across the infrastructure.
• Lead the response to infrastructure-related incidents and troubleshooting, ensuring quick and effective resolutions to maintain service continuity.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, promoting DevOps best practices and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
• Stay informed about industry developments and new technologies, introducing innovative solutions to enhance DevOps processes and toolsets.

What You Need to Have:

• Proficiency in working with Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and GitOps practices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized applications (such as Docker).
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform.
• Experience utilizing Monitoring Tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring/StackDriver, Grafana, Prometheus/AlertManager, and NewRelic.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins for automation and pipeline management.
• Expertise in CI/CD processes and tools.
• Strong team player with a solution-oriented, proactive attitude and a “Get Things Done” mindset.
• Passionate about technology and innovation.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

What would be a plus for us:

• Experience/Knowledge with Kafka, Prometheus/AlertManager, Grafana, Elasticsearch/ Logstash/ Kibana, Vault, Redis, MySQL, DNS;
• Experience with PHP, Javascript, GoLang;
• Experience provisioning servers and services using AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Experience/Knowledge with Istio;
• Good know-how about Cloud Networking including VPC Management, Routing, NAT, and overall troubleshooting using TCPdump analysis;
• Familiar with SCRUM methodology.

• Hybrid - Candidates must reside in Portugal
