Twistag is a Lisbon-based digital product studio known for our holistic approach to product design, engineering, and strategy. We help companies design, build, and ship outstanding web and mobile products.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Fullstack Developer at Twistag, you will play a critical role in the full lifecycle of our product development. You'll bridge the gap between frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration and top-notch performance.

• Lead the development of robust web and mobile applications, focusing on the frontend (Next.js, React) and backend (Nest.js, GraphQl, Postgres)
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to conceptualize, build, and optimize user-centric applications, including progressive/web applications, SaaS software, and e-commerce solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code to build efficient and reliable applications
• Lead architectural decisions, ensuring scalability and sustainability
• Keep abreast of full-stack development best practices and trends, actively contributing to the team's continuous learning and improvement
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and shared knowledge within the team

What we seek

• Experience building and maintaining full-stack applications with a strong portfolio (over 5 years in the field)
• Expertise in modern frontend technologies (Next.js, Tailwind, CSS) and backend development (Node.js, REST or GraphQl, Sql)
• A solid understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• A solid understanding of the backend process (development, testing, and deployment)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with AWS will be considered a valuable additional asset
