Senior Java/Kotlin Backend Developer (Payments Focus)

Technical and Soft Skills:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Java/Kotlin Backend Developer to join our Payments Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend services that power our payment platform, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java andKotlin backend development.
• Strong proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, transaction processing, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Fluent in English (C1-C2 level) is mandatory
• Candidates must be in European Union already and have EU Passport / work permit in a European Union country (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the payments industry, particularly with e-commerce checkout or payment systems.
• Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, and PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Dutch B2 lever is a plus
