Join the yellow team as our new Senior / Lead Data Scientist!

What is your mission?

• Lead and mentor a team of mid-level data scientists, overseeing project planning and execution using SCRUM;
• Develop, evaluate and continuously improve predictive models and analytics solutions to optimize business operations and drive revenue growth;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business proposals;
• Create and manage key performance dashboards and reports for stakeholders;
• Enhance the Data Science department's workflows through improved procedures, documentation, and code review;
• Contribute to the code and help reviewing the code of others on a daily basis;
• Stay current with data science innovations and implement best practices across the team.

Required Competences:

• Over 5 years of experience in data science, including team leadership;
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics;
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL (preferably PostgreSQL), and Unix/Linux environments;
• Experience applying CI/CD principles to data science workflows;
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools, preferably Apache Airflow;
• Excellent communication and leadership skills;
• You are fluent in both spoken and written English.

Location Requirements:

• Remote - Candidates must reside in Portugal
