Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams in Portugal, that collaborate with other Teams in the Netherlands and work with international clients across Europe.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures across various customer environments.

What you will do:

• Design, set up, and manage robust network infrastructures including firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers;
• Work with a variety of network devices and solutions including: HPE Switches, Fortinet, Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper / Juniper SRX, F5 Load Balancers, etc;
• Utilize tools like Zabbix, Wireshark, and Netbox to monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues;
• Implement and manage security protocols including firewalling, DNS, and certificates, ensuring compliance with security standards;
• Work with cloud platforms and hybrid network techniques to support seamless integration and network performance;
• Liaise with stakeholders, share knowledge with team members, and maintain clear documentation of network configurations and changes.

What you are like:

• 4+ years experience as a Network Engineer;
• Proficient in setting up and managing firewalls, routing, and switching;
• Experienced with cloud platforms and hybrid network techniques;
• Have strong understanding of security techniques (firewalling, DNS, certificates);
• Familiar with automation and scripting tools is a plus;
• Proficient in English.
