Currently, we are seeking an Senior Oracle DBA who's eager to continuing to evolve, thrives on challenges, and is ready to embark in a new opportunity.

 

Responsibilities:

• Setting up database servers and ensuring they are properly connected to the network.
• Develop data models to support application development and business needs.
• Optimize database performance by tuning SQL queries, indexing strategies, and storage configurations. This includes monitoring system performance and making adjustments as needed;
• Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures to restore databases in case of hardware or software failures;
• Implement and manage user permissions and roles to ensure that only authorized users have access to the database;
• Continuously monitor database performance, usage, and security;
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and upgrades to the database software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and data corruption.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the database environment, including configurations, procedures, and policies.

 

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a DBA.
• 6+ years PostgreSQL.
• 6+ years SQL Server.
• Migration Experience in Oracle to PostgreSQL and SQL Server to PostgreSQL
• Ora2Pg Experience (nice to have).
• Oracle Database Administration.
• Installation and Configuration.
