Senior Security Developer w/ AWS, JAVA OR Python

Due to increased activity, the MoOngy Group is looking for a Senior Security Developer w/ AWS, JAVA  OR Python for Germany

Your tasks as Senior Security Developer:

You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining security solutions for our organization's software applications and systems. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to identify potential security vulnerabilities and design and implement effective security measures.

• Develop, implement, and maintain security solutions for our software applications and systems
• Be in charge of work packages to secure existing applications
• Skill up threat modelling, backup & recovery, encryptionand pen testing concepts
• Improve security of applications
• Analyse and document security measures/improvement
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring secure software development

What we are looking for:

If you are passionate about agile methodologies and have the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development with Java or Python programming languages (mandatory)
• 4 years experience with AWS security services and architectures (mandatory)
• Experience with Threat Modelling
• Experience with Terraform
• Is a plus if you have experience with: Qualys, Checkmarx, Snowflake
• German B2/C1; English C1-C2 (mandatory)
• Experience in Energy sector is a plus
• THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION FROM ESSEN
• The candidates must be in Germany (with a valid work visa) or have European citizenship and be willing to relocate to Germany.
