The Opportunitiy

We are currently seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join us, working from Lisbon.

Position Overview

Lead the administration SQL Server databases, ensuring 24/7 availability of systems crucial to Portugal's economy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor SQL Server databases (2005-2016 and higher)

• Perform performance tuning and optimization

• Manage backups, recovery, and replication

• Implement best practices and security policies

• Support development teams and monitor system growth

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field

• 5+ years experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher

• 4+ years experience with PowerBI platforms and Microsoft Reporting Server 2012

• 5+ years as Senior Administrator integrating SQL Server with Microsoft DPM 2012

Required Certifications:

• MCTP Database Administrator 2012 certification or higher

• Two certifications in IT Performance Optimization Foundations

• All certifications must be valid at the time of application
