This position is responsible for the ServiceNow platform and capabilities used to manage Company`s IT processes, inventory, assets, and together with their configuration and operational state.

As the ServiceNow Platform Lead, you will have a pivotal role in our ServiceNow initiatives.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain ServiceNow platform enablement strategy, functionality implementation roadmaps, project plans, and timelines;
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Service Now platform;
  • Be the technical expert in how to best support IT by leveraging ServiceNow best practices, while focusing on configuration vs. customization;
  • Support the engagement efforts for IT - specific process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current/future-state processes during workshops with key stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Business/Application teams, Hosting, Networking, and Security and Finance/Billing departments) to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Service Now platform;
  • Oversee the DevOps - development, testing, deployment, and support of ServiceNow modules, applications, and workflows;
  • Responsible for the CMDB health, governance, data integrity and integration with all necessary business use cases and platforms;
  • Maintain Application to Server Mappings by creating the necessary governance, processes, and drive data requirements across all service owners;
  • Maintain accurate configuration data by pre-defining and governing CMDB requirements and define process integration points across related areas (Asset Mgmt.);
  • Delivering the design, development, and implementation of automated processes (Discovery) for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data;
  • Delivering the design, development, and implementation of the Service Catalog supporting the business needs;
  • Enable CMDB to integrate and support operational requirements in support of ITOM, ITSM, ITAM process areas, including Problem, Incident, Change, Release, Capacity, Service Level, Lifecycle management, Availability and Service-Continuity Management.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of overall experience working on the ServiceNow platform;
  • Expert level design, develop and testing of applications using ServiceNow;
  • Extensive experience in the implementation of ServiceNow - IT Operations Management, Service Management and Asset Management, Portfolio Management capabilities;
  • Experience with configuring Service Now integrations with other applications;
  • Extensive configuration/development experience with CSDM, CMDB and ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping in large enterprise environments;
  • Extensive experience in integration including web services (REST), and MID Server;
  • Familiarity and experience with ITIL processes;
  • Strong background in software development, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models;
  • Strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and excellent problem-solving abilities;
  • ITIL Certification / PMP Certification.
