Stefanini is hiring Portugal-based ServiceNow Senior Developers/Platform Manager to join one of our Lisbon-based clients.
This client works within the retail business sector, operating around the world.
- Project duration: longterm;
- Work model: hybrid (3 days per week on-site in Lisbon);
This role takes place on a diverse multidisciplinary team, where English fluency is mandatory (written and spoken).
As a ServiceNow Senior Developer/Platform Manager, you will play a critical role in Internal Development and implementation features, actively participating in design thinking and solution proposition to meet clients needs and requirements.
Complementing the development side of this position, you will also be involved in the key platform features such as Major Release Upgrades, Licensing consumption Overview, 3rd Party Integrations Monitoring and Deployment Release Management, which are aligned with our daily operations and also to make the client aware, in a pro-active manner, of possible interventions from other IT teams.
ITSM, CSDM/CMDB and ITOM implementation/configuration experience are a must have and are highly valued for this position as Senior Developer.
Role Responsibilities:
- Major Release Upgrades: Responsible for planning and coordinate platform upgrades, amongst the internal and external teams in order to have the least possible impact on daily operations and making sure that possible customizations in processes remains to work.
- 3rd Party Integrations Monitoring: As part of the role of Platform Owner, you’ll be responsible to build mechanisms that would allow you to check the status of integrations with other critical systems that can take a crucial role on handling operations cross companies.
- Release Management: Responsible for building the pipeline of developments to be deployed in production, respecting the deployment windows.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSDM/CMDB and ITOM modules, to address complex challenges in Food Retail Business, making sure that those implementation are scalable in several dimensions.
- Configuration and Customization: Back to Vanilla whenever is possible should be always the first approach, which means that OOTB deep knowledge across the different ITSM modules is also highly valued for this position.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, manual steps to be taken upon a certain task and step-by-step guides.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance to ensure smooth project delivery.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Senior Developer and Platform Manager with a minimum of 5 years in Senior Developer and Platform Management roles.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSDM/CMDB and ITOM.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (Portuguese and English).
- Ability to work effectively in local and/or hybrid team environment.
Nice-to-have skills:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
- ITIL certification is highly valued.
