What you will be doing

You will create and develop technical curriculum content, including coding projects and exercises, to support students to master several programming languages. You’ll design and implement automated tests to evaluate students' code and integrate new materials of emerging technologies. Additionally, working collaboratively with your team, you’ll refine content based on feedback to ensure it meets educational standards.

 

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Design and build technical content for our peer-to-peer programming platform, including coding projects, exercises, and exams in JavaScript, Go, Rust, and additional languages.

  • Develop and validate automated tests and maintain automatic-evaluation infrastructure to ensure students' code meets our criteria.

  • Integrate new learning materials in emerging fields such as blockchain, machine learning, cybersecurity, and AI, while maintaining and updating pedagogical course materials.

  • Continuously review and refine content for accuracy and effectiveness, and support external content contributors in producing new materials.

  • Interact with end users to implement their feedback, enhancing the overall educational experience.                

 

Experience and Skills we are looking for

  • Experience in at least two programming languages.

  • Willingness to learn additional languages.

  • Strong skills using Git/GitHub and Docker.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong interest in peer-learning, or experience as a learner in a peer-to-peer school.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with technical expertise.

  • Proactive, dynamic, and adaptable to change.

  • Self-discipline and a commitment to self-learning.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

  • Must have an EU passport or possess legal rights to work in Portugal.

 

Job Location

Lisbon or Madeira (Portugal) with the possibility of partial remote work.
