Job Description:

• Building and maintaining systems utilizing JavaScript, with a focus on technologies such as Node.js, React, or Vue.js
• Developing and managing integrations with both internal and external APIs to facilitate seamless system communication
• Crafting and deploying software solutions with an emphasis on high performance and robust security
• Managing SQL databases, including tasks such as data modeling, query optimization, and routine maintenance
• Partnering with product, design, and QA teams to deliver and implement solutions that align with business objectives
• Conducting code reviews and enhancing code quality to uphold best practices and ensure efficient, reliable software
• Maintaining high standards in code quality through the implementation of automated testing and performance evaluation

Must-Have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position
• A degree in Computer Engineering or a related field relevant to the role
• Strong command of JavaScript programming language
• Proficiency in working with Node.js or front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js
• Extensive experience with integrations using RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Advanced expertise in SQL databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Competence in both Front-end and Back-end development
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively
• Strong interpersonal abilities, coupled with dynamism, initiative, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Fluent in English
• Available for a hybrid model – 3 to 4 days per week in-office in Lisbon

Would be great if you have:

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
