Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.

What are you going to do?

• Help/enable the AI team to design, build and deliver AI-powered applications in scale in a fast, secure, and reliable manner;
• Advise and guide the team in designing modern and modular software architectures and frameworks for AI-powered and mostly web-based applications;
• Take the lead on establishing best practices for software engineering and adopting the most suitable frameworks, tools and platforms for building successful AI applications;
• Develop AI-powered software applications, which might include multiple components such as frontend, backend, databases, API integrations and monitoring;
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines, machine learning algorithms and software modules into successful AI-based applications;
• Deliverables: AI Tools to support business use cases that will be prioritized by the AI team, whether POCs or production grade.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or similar;
• Proven experience developing AI applications;
• Experience with NLP, LLM, audio, and video processing using AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch;
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques;
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras;
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools, such as SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face;
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as BERT, GPT, or Transformer models;
• Familiar with cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• Knowledge of trusted AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI models and systems
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 minimum);
• Work model: 2-3 times per week in the office (Porto);
• Residency in Portugal – Citizenship or Work Visa/Residence Card (mandatory).
