Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications with a focus on Visual Basic 6 (VB6) integration and modernization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Migrate and refactor existing VB6 applications to modern .NET frameworks
• Develop and maintain efficient and scalable code, following industry best practices
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Stay current with the latest .NET technologies and tools
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for .NET applications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong background in Visual Basic 6 (VB6)
• Solid understanding of VB6 programming language and the ability to modernize and enhance legacy code
• Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET
• Experience with database systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with modernization techniques for legacy VB6 applications
• Knowledge of other modern programming languages and frameworks within the .NET ecosystem
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS
• Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
