We're currently on the lookout for an exceptional Software Test Automation Engineer. You will be a key player in a pivotal project within the financial sector, focusing on enhancing service speed and reliability for customers by transitioning applications from on-prem infrastructure to the public cloud.
Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development: Craft, refine, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Serenity, Cucumber, and Selenium to validate web application functionalities and performance.
• Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to craft test strategies and plans, ensuring thorough coverage through prioritized test scenarios and cases.
• Execution and Reporting: Manage the execution of automated tests, analyze outcomes, identify defects, and ensure efficient resolution of issues.
• CI/CD Integration: Embed automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and deployment, maintaining test stability across environments.
• Framework and Tooling Enhancement: Lead the evaluation and integration of cutting-edge testing tools and methodologies to elevate automation efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaboration and Mentoring: Engage closely with cross-functional teams to align on testing objectives, while guiding junior engineers on best practices.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for test automation strategies, scripts, and outcomes to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years in software development and test automation, with solid expertise in Serenity, Cucumber, and Selenium.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Java or similar OOP languages, deep understanding of testing methodologies, and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in team settings.
• Hybrid Work Availability: Open to a hybrid work schedule, with 2 office days per week in Lisbon.
