Software Tester

Languages: English or Spanish 

Key Resposabilities: 

API Testing: Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the performance, reliability, and a scalability of various API endpoints. Use testing tools and scripts to facilitate and streamline testing processes. 

Frontend Testing: Test the user interface and user experience on various devices and browsers to ensure consistent performance and responsiveness. Identify and document visual and functional defects for resolution by the development team.

Functionality Testing: Conduct en-to-end testing of apllication functionality to ensure all features work as expected under different scenarios. This includes integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing.

Documentation: Regularly update test plans, test cases, and quality assurance processes. Ensure documentatios is clear, accurate, and acessible to both technical and noo-technical stakeholders.

Bug Tracking and Reporting: Use bug tracking software to document software defects and monitor their resolution. 

Work closely with the development team to prioritize bug fixes anda validate solutions.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices. Recommend improvements to testing processes and strategies to enhance software quality and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

. Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

. Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on API and frontend testing.

. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

. Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g, Selenium, Insomnia).

. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Strong Skills: 

. Excellent problem-solving skills an attention to detail.

. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

. Familiarized with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) and version control Systems (e.g., GIT).
