Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Solution Architect who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with agile product development teams to create core applications for our global logistics network, including international parcel routing APIs and Parcel Shop search functionalities;
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to design IT solutions that bring their ideas and visions to life;
• Guide development teams in building state-of-the-art cloud-based (AWS, Azure) and Kubernetes applications that meet reliability and scalability goals;
• Design and automate DevOps workflows to ensure streamlined software delivery;
• Enhance the shared infrastructure stack (Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Apigee API Gateway) in collaboration with the platform engineering team to allow product teams to focus on their developments;
• Create prototypes and experiment with new technologies to improve our solutions;
• Support IT architects from our subsidiaries around the globe in solving various IT challenges.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field;
• +5 years of experience working as a Solutions Architect;
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures and strategies with project experience as a Cloud Architect (AWS or Azure);
• Experience in implementing scalable microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes;
• Proficiency in developing security and identity concepts;
• Strong experience with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Kafka, and Docker;
• Passion for problem analysis and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively;
• Strong collaboration skills, working closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams;
• Fluent level of English;
• Living in Lisbon (hybrid role).
