SQL Database Admins

Stefanini is hiring SQL Database Admins to join one of its clients in Lisbon (Taguspark). Their role will be to support back office domain of the infrastructure in providing solutions to increase operational efficiencies in Databases environment and related services.

This is a long-term position, that takes place with an hybrid work model: days with remote work, and days working from the client office in Taguspark.

 

 Daily tasks:

• Support IT strategy by supporting new and existing services;
• Participate in the implementation of new services;
• Support new product deployments with installation, integration, testing, documentation, and training;
• Assist in implementation of plans that enhance technical operation, compliance with rules and regulations, and permit the deployment of new technology and support them;
• Define and compile the methods of procedures and documentation to support in the maintenance and day to-day operation of the databases;
• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure;
• Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities.

 

 

Requirements:

• Experience in SQL DBA, with proven knowledge of at least 3 years;
• High sense of responsibility and proactivity;
• Ability to work in a team with a process-oriented approach;
• Learning potential and willingness to take on new challenges;
• Proficiency in English, specifically the ability to read and understand documentation in English;
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting.

 

Nice to have:

• Availability to work on-call;
• Flexible and adaptable with excellent ability to work cross functionally within an organization.
