Strategic Sourcing Manager

Aubay Portugal are now looking for a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for our client company within the space industry.  

Aubay is a multinational French company, located in Portugal since 2007, with offices in Lisbon and Oporto. We offer specialized consultant services within Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems and have more than 150 active partners operating in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.

We are looking for you, who will take the reins in crafting and executing innovative Global Sourcing Strategies that span the globe, employing cutting-edge strategies to optimize direct and indirect sourcing. You will take lead in fostering a culture of global collaboration by defining processes, tools, and platforms that promote seamless cooperation among worldwide operations.

What are you going to do?

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies that align with our business goals and objectives
• Manage and optimize our global supplier network, ensuring quality, reliability, and total-cost-efficiency
• Negotiate and execute strategic contracts with key suppliers and partners, minimizing risks and maximizing value
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our sourcing processes, organization and practices, leveraging data and technology
• Embrace the opportunity to travel as you work alongside a diverse team across different locations worldwide.

Who are you?

• Proven experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies, concepts
• Experience in overseeing and optimizing global supplier relationships and performance
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in the realm of risk assessment and the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
• Fluency in English, enabling seamless communication and collaboration on a global scale
