Job Title: Systems Administrator / Helpdesk Technician

Location: Aveiro/Coimbra regions

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator / Helpdesk Technician with expertise in Linux, Windows, and cloud environments like AWS or Azure. The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across our systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day helpdesk support for both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Manage and maintain servers.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform server maintenance.
  • Monitor system performance and perform regular updates.
  • Ensure system security through access controls and backups.
  • Assist with network and infrastructure management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms or other cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of network protocols and system monitoring tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and provide efficient technical support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, Linux, or Windows.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
