Workster is partnering with a growing platform specializing in integrated network and digital solutions for the hospitality industry. Your Role
As a Technical Support Specialist in Networking, you will provide turnkey support to all installed-base customers across the platform’s range of services. You’ll work within a high-demand technical environment, focusing on networking-related inquiries and systems support, ensuring swift and effective issue resolution or escalation when necessary.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the Tier 2 technical contact, quickly assessing and investigating network issues to resolve them or escalate as needed.
- Act as the primary support for networking-related technical issues, providing remote troubleshooting and detailed operational assessments to meet customer needs.
- Deliver exemplary customer service by handling all support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems, with a strong focus on network and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Analyze data to identify the root causes of technical problems, performing remote testing and using diagnostic software as necessary to restore optimal network performance.
- Support systems’ operation by maintaining and testing equipment, offering troubleshooting solutions, and ensuring high-performance network configurations.
Your Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (C1); knowledge of German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a history of effective multitasking and network troubleshooting.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to adapt your interaction style to meet customer needs.
- Solid technical background in TCP/IP and networking protocols (Switching, Routing) and familiarity with network operations.
- Hands-on experience in managing both LAN and MAN (Layer 2 & Layer 3) and in handling Wireless Networks (802.11x).
- Familiarity with common industry brands and hardware configurations in production environments.
- Network vendor technical certifications (e.g., Aruba, Ruckus, Cisco, Brocade).
- B.S. or equivalent in IT or Engineering is a plus.
