We will rely on you to 

You will be responsible for:

 

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives. Develop test plans and strategies based on these requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data to thoroughly assess the functionality of web applications.
• Perform manual testing to verify the functionality, usability, and compatibility of web applications across various browsers and devices.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools, where applicable, to streamline regression testing.
• Ensure that web applications work consistently and correctly on different browsers, operating systems, and devices.
• Continuously run and monitor regression tests to identify and report issues and ensure that new changes do not break existing functionality.
• Evaluate the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of web applications to ensure they meet design and usability standards.
• Assess and report on the performance of web applications, including load testing and stress testing.
• Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and other security risks.
• Document and report defects, issues, and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems. Collaborate with developers to resolve these issues.
• Prepare and maintain test environments that mimic production settings to replicate real-world scenarios.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and automation scripts.

 

What we're looking for 

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Web Tester or QA Tester, with a strong understanding of web technologies.
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various web frameworks.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with development teams.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
• Knowledge of web security principles and common vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
