Windows System Administrator

Stefanini is hiring Windows System Administrators to join one of our clients in Portugal. This client operates within the retail business sector and it is based in Estoril.

• This is a role with hybrid work model: the technicians must work on the client’s facilities 4 days per week. 1 day/week with remote work.
• Project duration: long-term.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and administration of Windows servers, ensuring their proper functioning across this client’s facilities.

Role responsibilities:
•    Install, maintain, and administer Windows servers, ensuring their proper functioning.
•    Manage the IT infrastructure.
•    Continuously monitor the status and alarms of managed equipment, proactively diagnosing and solving anomalies.
•    Receive, process, and close user incidents or requests for accesses, changes, and IT support.
•    Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
•    Propose improvements to processes under their responsibility.
•    Troubleshoot systems and software to create predictable measures for operation and maintenance, including protection procedures.
•    Keep systems and platforms up to date proactively.
•    Participate in IT projects, contributing expertise in relevant areas.

Role requirements:
•    Portuguese fluency.
•    English fluency (nice to have).
•    Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.
•    Experience with VMware for management, operation, and maintenance.
•    Experience in managing operating systems Windows (7/8/10/11).
•    Configuration of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Teams) and printers (Local and Network).
•    Expertise in account management, creation of mailboxes, permissions, access levels, shared folders, and printers.
•    Proficient in management of IP networks and respective services (IP, DNS, DHCP), VPN configuration.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and experience in remote troubleshooting.
•    Excellent customer support and communication skills.
•    Experience in computer maintenance, software installation, and MS Office and Office 365 administration.
•    Understanding of network infrastructures.
